i short question regarding FS-UAE. Is there an option to speed up the loading times during games load? I know this option from another emulators out there.

Yes, F12 + W – it’s in the keyboard shortcut list

Heya. Very nice emulator, it’s great to see a modern and user-friendly Amiga emulator!

I use the OSX version, and there’s one small thing that peeves me. .adf files have the default exec icon. I know FS-UAE won’t ‘run’ an ADF from a double click (like the way VICE does for .tap and .d64 files), but having a blue floppy icon associated with the .adf extension through FS-UAE would be nifty. Maybe there might be a way to also load the double-clicked .adf file into df0: or add .adf files to the swap list if multiple are selected?

Hi, thx you for your work, it’s amazing to play amiga games 20 years later I have a question about saving on online mode :I play Space crusade with my brother in FS-UAE online mode, we tried to save our game , we did it with the savegame disk included in FS-UAE. THe game asked us to format it before, we did it, but when we tried to load it after quiting the save disapeared… Is there any way to save an online game like this ? cause playing that kind of game without save is a bit hard…

Hi, there’s no video recording feature in FS-UAE. Not yet anyway

Currently it only supports games from the online database. With more work in the future, it isn’t a reason why it cannot also work with local configurations.

Hi, I agree it would be nice with an icon, but I think the emulator should first support running .adf files directly, people might expect that when a custom icon is shown

I have the Amiga 3.9 CD. Would it be possible to load and use this later system?

Yes, that will work fine, but to install from this CD you need to rip it to .iso or .bin/.cue first and use the CD image as installation medium. FS-UAE does not support real CD-ROM devices.

Hi, i registre to game database and it is bombastic, thanks for your work! Planed you this great system for launches games too for dosbox, snes, etc..? Btw FS-dosbox, FS-snes…. :-)

I cant get the CAPS “SPS” games to work with 2.3.15dev. If i go back to the official release it works perfect.

Sorry but it’s still all confused. I’ve read all documentation and still can’t have it working. I’ve a PS2 controller connected as “Default (PS3/PC Adaptor)”, it works in UAE but I cannot open the GUI menu (select+pause don’t work), nor assign specific commands to buttons (something like “joystick_0_right_trigger = action_save_state_1″ is totally ignored).

What I’d like to do is being able to open the GUI menu from joypad or, at least, have the save and restore save state commands on the triggers (or any other key). can you help me pleasE?

update: i had to install xquartz for x11 (hoping that joypad configuration could be of any use) and now joypad don’t work any more in games. ironically the only thing working is select+pause to invoke GUI menu. and, no, I didn’t add any manual configuration. what can I do? thanks

new update: now everything works. no idea why. well, better so.
